You’ll be starting off your all-inclusive day with a great, light morning hike in an area known for it’s scenery. This hike is suitable for families with children as young as 8 as well as seniors. Guided by a Professional Naturalist you will explore Okanagan Mountain Provincial Park . Here you’ll enjoy spectacular lake viewpoints as well as a refreshing cool mountain canyon and creek during your hike. You may even see some of the wild animals of the area, including white tailed deer, mountain goats, moose, lynx or coyotes. If you check under the rocks and in the grasses you could also spot a northern alligator lizard or a yellow-bellied racer!
After your hike you will be welcomed at Summerhill Pyramid Winery with your boxed lunch. This will be followed by a premium wine tasting and exclusive tour of Canada’s largest organic vineyard and Summerhill’s famous Pyramid. Fun fact- did you know that the Summerhill Pyramid is second only to the Great Pyramid of Egypt for its alignment and precision?
Next you’ll be taken Carmelis Boutique Cheese Dairy for a deluxe cheese tasting. If you love goat cheese, then this is a stop that you don’t want to miss!
All children must be accompanied by an adult and must also be able to walk 6km, or be carried in a proper Child Carrier Backpack. Children under 8 are free, adults (13 & older) $159. and ages 8-12 are $65. each.
The length of the tour is 6 hrs, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. We will pick you up in our air conditioned van at your location in Kelowna, West Kelowna or Peachland.
Things to bring; a good pair of walking shoes, water, sunscreen and a hat, and binoculars if you have them.
